Heylady's debut album 'About Time' is now out both for digital download and in hard copy -- It's been a long time coming and it feels so sweet!

Here it is: iTunes | Spotify | Bandcamp

"Is That Too Much to Ask", an original electro-swing song by collaborators producer Biboulakis (aka Bibz) and Nina Zeitlin, is now on Japan's Rambling Records Electro-Swing compilation 'Electro Swing On Dance Vol.1'!

Bibz/Nina song "If Only Alarms Didn't Ring" was released in 2011 by Defected (UK) on 4 compilations and as it's own record on their sister label Azuli. Almost two years later, as we ring in 2013, the alarms seem to keep ringing (sorry, terrible joke...) on youtube in particular. With all kinds of versions floating around, including a few entertaining DIY music video edits, this official Azuli video with the David Jones remix version has now surpassed 150,000 views.

After completing two new songs in collaboration with Matt and Neil de Luca of Figure & Groove Music, "Overcome" gets picked up for VH1's show House of Consignment and "Let's Keep it Movin" gets placed in the opening credits/scene of 2013 award-winning comedy feature Sleeping with the Fishes (film clip here).

Great news! "Is That Too Much to Ask", the newest electro-swing track by Nina (vocals/lyrics) and producer Bibz was selected and released worldwide on two compilations from Wagram Music (the largest independent music distributor in France): Electro Swing IV and Spirit of Electro Swing (a comprehensive 'Best of' collection for the genre, which also contains the Bibz/Nina song "If Only Alarms Didn't Ring").

The day after we completed a successful kickstarter campaign to fund the recording of our debut album, we played a big Mardi Gras show with New Orleans' own Rebirth Brass Band (the night before they won a Grammy!). It was an amazing night! We now have a couple more big shows lined up, the first of which is on 4/29/12 at Highline Ballroom, sharing the stage with Motet. Then a few weeks later, we'll be joining Walker and the Brotherhood of the Grape at B.B. Kings!

This original electro-swing collaboration between Nina and Biboulakis gets signed to Defected Records, along with a David Jones Remix. The track was also seleted for the "Knights of the Playboy Mansion" compilation, mixed by Bob Sinclair and Dimitri from Paris.

The funkiest thing yet to happen to Heylady!

Nina makes a guest appearance as a session singer on Season 3 of NBC's Celebrity Apprentice, airing in the Spring of 2010...

On Mark Farina's "Best of 2009 in no particular order" list, he includes the debut release of Biboulakis feat. Nina Zeitlin's "The Lucky Two" EP, here: http://www.juno.co.uk/charts/dj/338854-Mark_farina/347289-Chart/
